Founded in 1993 by Kal Zam, DSM was born from a desire to follow in his father’s footsteps and make his own mark on the California construction landscape. Kal’s father was an inspiration and a mentor to his son. This family spirit has permeated DSM Construction over its 30-year history. Not only have three generations of Zam’s—including Kal’s son, Dain—guided DSM to the top of its field, but they have also achieved success by respecting their 60+ employees and their ever-growing list of clients like family.
